This course provides participants with an in-depth analysis of the international tax issues related to oil and gas activities. More specifically, it covers how these activities are dealt with under tax treaties and how tax treaties impact the taxation of enterprises engaged in such activities as well as their employees.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND

The course is ideal for in-house tax managers, advisors, legal personnel and government officials working with enterprises or individuals involved in the oil and gas industry. This is an intermediate level course. Participants should be familiar with the basic tax treaty concepts and the domestic law of at least one country, in particular as it relates to cross-border situations.
